About Challenge

Through NFTs, artists, musicians and even gamers have generated millions of dollars. It’s undeniable that NFTs create opportunities for new business models that didn’t exist before around selling and owning digital items.

Beyond establishing new business models, blockchain technology has created new tools to accelerate regional development. How can this technology tackle matters such as land ownership, inequality issues, climate action projects or even food security?

The Asian Development Bank has launched the NFTs for development in Asia challenge to call on startups that can leverage the potential of blockchain technologies. The main goal of this year's challenge is to see how blockchain technology can be used to support development and ADB's Strategy 2030 Operational Priorities in Asia.

Bring your idea, prototype or wireframe of the proposed solution. We want to hear from you!
