The Mindful Company (Pseudonym)
Our mission is to help individuals improve their lives by learning and applying Mindfulness techniques into their daily and work lives.
But learning mindfulness is not just about learning a skill set or head knowledge. It is about a change in behaviour. That means being aware of when it needs to be applied, and what to do then.
This application of mindfulness revolves around building new habits and doing it at a pace that is effective for the particular learner.
Reinforced learning is important but difficult to enforce by a coach / mentor or trainer all the time.
Having a solution that allows the learner to be more self-directed in the application of mindfulness would be a very powerful tool to effective application.

Customer Service training is currently classroom and scenario based. New hires are required to undergo On-Job-Training before they are assessed and certified to be transitioned into the role. On-Job-Training is flight dependent and experience varies between new hires during the On-Job-Training phase as it is impossible to experience every possible scenario raised and highlighted during classroom based training. As such, new hires might not have the experience required to manage specific difficult situations that would require appropriate responses or actions to remedy the situation. Consequently, new hires might be psychologically and emotionally overwhelmed by those situation which is one of the contributing factors towards the attrition rate.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a learning solution that will complement the existing training framework for our Customer Service staff in the aviation industry. The solution will provide opportunity for learners to experience every possible scenario raised and highlighted.

SMILE (Pseudonym)
Minimally invasive dental treatment is challenging to teach as the surrounding anatomy is often not obvious (because soft tissues are not cut open) and lies hidden during the procedure. An example would be the insertion of miniscrew implants for the purposes of orthodontic (braces) treatment.
Miniscrew implants are commonly-used temporary anchorage devices in orthodontic treatment that are inserted during a surgical procedure. To insert it successfully and safely in an actual patient, the clinician usually takes a radiograph of the relevant region to have a better sense of the surrounding anatomy and with the correct insertion angle and torque, places the miniscrew into the gums and surrounding bone. Complications like adjacent tooth trauma, nerve injury, sinus perforation, slippage, miniscrew implant fracture or eventual dislodgement can arise which inevitably lead to patient dissatisfaction and undesirable treatment results.
Conventional training involves inculcating theoretical knowledge with lectures and hands-on practice with resin models of dental arches. Training is often focused on building confidence to make the correct judgment of where the correct surgical site is using the appropriate insertion technique. Unfortunately, detailed visualisation of the surgical site anatomy with tactile feedback during screw insertion practice is not possible during training and the competency of trainees also cannot be ascertained before they try the procedure on actual patients.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a cost-effective learning solution that is able to simulate real life insertion of miniscrew implants in varying dental anatomy, allowing repeated practice and assessment to level the learning curve for all dentists.

Angio-Radio (Pseudonym)
Angiography training for radiographers is manpower draining and poses a risk to the staff and patient. Current training is via in-situ with actual patients during actual procedures. Senior radiographers are on-hand in the scenario where the trainee requires a rescue. A new system to train radiographers in a safe and controlled manner needs to be developed to improve the quality of the training as well as the mental safety of the trainee.

Capsule (Pseudonym)
We are a non-profit organisation that represents pharmacists professionally to provide Singaporeans with high quality pharmaceutical services. We conduct an Aseptic Compounding Course for healthcare staff, which teaches aseptic practices to be applied during sterile drug compounding in a cleanroom environment. However, training and assessment is manpower- and resource-intensive. Additionally, we face constraints in providing hands-on/practical training due to limited training sites. The course curriculum currently includes a theoretical component, supplemented by an online discussion of course materials. The National Pharmacy Strategy rolled out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) is pushing for the upscaling of sterile compounding standards nationally, through the establishment of GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practices) compounding facilities that will require highly trained personnel in order to achieve system benefits of safety, quality and efficacy of sterile compounded products.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a digital solution in collaboration with a restructured hospital Pharmacy Department to provide a structured and comprehensive program for hands-on training, practice, and assessment of aseptic compounding techniques to complement our Aseptic Compounding Course, which is open to participants nationwide. We will evaluate the proposed solution based on suitability to our needs, usability, increase in learner competencies and scalability.

I3Hub (Pseudonym)
We are a medical training institute that specialises in using simulation modality to enhance skills and competency in healthcare professionals. The institute has recently adopted serious games of various forms (e.g.: web browser based, AR, VR) to enhance individuals’ skills and knowledge. The institute has developed serious games with different game developers, where game data are presented differently in each game. Owing to the lack of common parameters for measurement across the games, meaningful data analysis on individual performance is not possible. Difficulty in tracking a learner’s progress hinders individual’s learning growth in an organisation as it is not possible to determine effectively where the learning gaps are. Thus, we may still continue to run programmes that may not promote proper skills improvement in the long run.
What We Are Looking For
We hope to have a solution that has the ability to extrapolate game records from different platforms in a more coordinated and efficient way, so that the trainers can do a cross-games analysis of individuals’ progress, identifying learning gaps and allowing customisation of training programmes that best suits the individual learners. When individuals’ knowledge and skills are enhanced, these competencies will translate to better patient safety and care.

Sustainability Training Corporation (Pseudonym)
Training on ESG, sustainability and carbon footprint assessment is critical now across sectors and service providers. It is expected that ESG reporting market will be worth over $30B by 2023. However, due to complexity of the industry, many existing data collection & certification systems (GRESB, WELL, LEED, GreenMark) as well as a variety of data collection methods, it is very difficult for industry professionals to navigate this field, build their skills and extend their professional credentials.
Sustainability Training Corporation develops solutions (sensors and software) to help organization meet their sustainability goals and certify their operation. To meet industry needs in Singapore and abroad, Sustainability Training Corporation needs to train & upskill a diverse group of industry professionals, including building managers, sustainability consultants, maintenance contractors, technology vendors and system integrators. Due to the diverse backgrounds of our trainees, it is very time consuming to meet everyone’s needs.
What We Are Looking For
Our learning challenge is to create an automated way to quantify the background knowledge of our trainees, fine tune education content to their need and develop ways to reward them for meeting learning objectives and applying them in practice.
