Challenge Owner(s)Gleneagles Hospital

How might we empower patients and visitors to navigate the hospital facility confidently and independently, enhancing their wayfinding experience while reducing operational burden on staff?

What are we looking for?

Gleneagles Hospital (GEH) is looking for a solution to enhance the visitor wayfinding experience across its complex multi-block campus, particularly for first-time visitors. The navigation scope should encompass the main hospital building and the Annexe Block, but exclude the Medical Centre which is separately operated. However, directional pointers to the Medical Centre can be included. Problem solvers may propose a standalone solution or one that integrates with GEH’s existing app for patients, which currently does not include a wayfinding function.

Challenge Owner(s)Chip Eng Seng Contractors

How might we automate the generation of construction shop drawings from BIM models to increase productivity and reduce errors in construction projects?

What are we looking for?

Chip Eng Seng Contractors is looking for a solution that can reliably and automatically generate accurate drawings (e.g., Concrete Body Plans, Combined Services Drawings, Wall Setting Out Plans, and Tile Setting Out Plans) directly from BIM models, while maintaining precision and compliance with project standards.

Challenge Owner(s)ISCA

How might we leverage AI to build an adaptive learning system that generates accurate, exam-relevant practice questions and provide personalised feedback, to enhance the learning and preparation for SCAQ candidates?

What are we looking for?

ISCA is seeking a solution that enhances the learning and preparation journey for SCAQ candidates to close knowledge gaps, strengthen exam readiness, and develop the professional skills of ethical judgment, problem-solving, and applied decision-making.

Challenge Owner(s)Ngai Chin Construction

How might we create an intelligent site documentation system that enables construction teams to efficiently capture, organise and track site progress across all project phases, while providing real-time centralised insights and data to reduce manual effort, minimise errors, and accelerate stakeholder approvals?

What are we looking for?

Ngai Chin is seeking an innovative solution to transform their site documentation workflow through an AI-powered mobile (Android & iOS) platform. The solution should streamline the capture and management of construction progress and defects, while providing intelligent defect identification and automated reporting capabilities. Given their extensive project portfolio and multiple concurrent fit-outs across Singapore, the company aims to reduce manual documentation efforts, minimise human error, and accelerate stakeholder approvals. The ideal solution should leverage AI technology for accurate defect detection and location tagging, whilst offering a centralised platform for real-time progress tracking and efficient project handovers.

Challenge Owner(s)National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)

How might we transform NTUC to proactively support all workers by leveraging data intelligence and AI to spot early warning signs of workplace distress and industry-wide workforce challenges, enabling timely interventions?

What are we looking for?

NTUC is seeking a proactive intelligence platform that transforms their reactive worker support model by consolidating multi-source workforce signals into actionable insights through AI-powered analytics and an interactive dashboard. This solution should enable early detection of individual worker distress and industry-wide trends, allowing officers to anticipate challenges and deliver timely interventions while expanding support beyond existing members to reach all workers in Singapore's labour ecosystem.

Challenge Owner(s)National University Hospital (NUH)

How might we enhance the efficiency of skin prick testing and accuracy in measuring results so that staff can manage high patient volumes whilst ensuring a smooth experience for patients?

What are we looking for?

NUH is seeking a solution to reduce the manual workload on staff administering SPTs while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results through digital measurement and documentation. The solution should ideally aid staff managing high patient volumes while providing a comfortable and smooth experience for patients.

Challenge Owner(s)National University Hospital (NUH)

How might we enable nurses to accurately and seamlessly measure and record patients’ urine output so as to reduce manual workload, improve hygiene and ensure reliable data for better clinical decision making?

What are we looking for?

NUH is seeking a tech-enabled solution to streamline and automate the process of urine output collection and measurement. They aim to move beyond traditional methods and create new, non-invasive and patient-friendly ways of urine collection so as to reduce nursing workload, improve hygiene and ensure seamless data records for better clinical decisions.

Challenge Owner(s)National University Hospital (NUH)

How might we develop an innovative solution to streamline and enhance the handling, storage and retrieval of pathology blocks and slides, thereby ensuring accuracy, compliance and easy access while reducing manual effort and operational risk in the pathology department?

What are we looking for?

NUH is seeking a solution to automate and streamline the handling of blocks and slides, improve traceability, reduce errors and ensure quick and easy retrieval while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Challenge Owner(s)Zero1

How might we create an inclusive, intuitive AI solution that supports Zero1's diverse customer base by enabling natural communication in Singapore's local languages and dialects, whilst reducing reliance on physical touchpoints?

What are we looking for?

Zero1 is seeking an innovative solution that comprises three key layers working in harmony. The front-end user interface should deliver a multilingual voice interface supporting the specified local dialects. This connects to a middle-end interaction layer that handles real-time voice and video call infrastructure whilst maintaining an empathetic tone and natural dialogue flow. The back-end layer, powered by Large Language Models (LLM) and integrated with telco domain knowledge, manages the service logic and AI capabilities, including automated reminders and contextual understanding without requiring manual translation. These three layers must work seamlessly together to create a cohesive customer service experience.

How might we develop an integrated health platform to monitor seniors at home, accurately detecting emergencies and reducing false alerts, and is easy to use, scalable, and trusted by caregivers?

What are we looking for?

The Challenge Owner envisages that the IHP will have three essential components:

1. Front-facing interface for caregivers

This should ideally be via a mobile application, which will serve as the frontline interface for caregivers, enabling them to receive real-time health information, alerts, and manage emergency responses remotely. It should be designed to support the remote caregiving of seniors or vulnerable individuals living at home.

2. Call centre coordination

The call centre coordination feature is a critical component of the IHP enabling timely and appropriate responses to emergency and non-emergency events triggered within the home environment. The call centre may be developed in-house or in partnership with an established medical emergency response provider.

3. Backend web-based system
The backend web-based system should serve as the central cloud-based platform for system-wide coordination, data integration, access control, and stakeholder communication. This feature underpins the platform’s functionality, enabling the Challenge Owner and its partners to manage users, devices, alerts, and permissions at scale.
