Seeking engaging game-based psychological assessment tools to select candidates for aviation roles
Existing assessment tools have been designed primarily as tests with strong psychometric properties, but they lack the ability to attract a wider audience and garner their interest in aviation roles. To complement existing assessment tools, coupled with the expansion of technology today, we seek an assessment tool to increase market capture in a more engaging manner while selecting for potential aircrew.
What We Are Looking For
- Web-hosted tools/Mobile apps that allow candidates to learn about various aviation-related roles (e.g., pilots, ground-based air traffic/remotely piloted drone controllers):
- Solutions should preferably be in the format of a game that can measure psychological attributes. Examples of psychological attributes can include the following:
- Psychomotor: coordination, accuracy
- Cognitive: spatial reasoning, perceptual processing, situational awareness, communication
- Non-Cognitive: motivation, resilience, decision-making, ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to provide quantifiable data (e.g., reaction time, para-data) and analytics to generate insights and recommendations (e.g., inform on the types of candidate profiles that are most predictive to training success for specific aviation roles)

Water leakage, especially when it occurs silently (without noticeable sounds or visible signs) and goes undetected, can contribute to significant waste, property damage, and increased utility cost. We are seeking innovative, cost-effective solutions that can proactively identify leaks in near real-time, minimise water loss, and prevent building damage.
What We Are Looking For
- Non-invasive water detection solutions that can cost-effectively and quickly detect water leakage
- Solutions that are applicable for both above and underground settings in a network of water distribution lines for a building cluster
- Solutions that do not require water pipe flushing and manual efforts to perform detection
- Solutions that provide real-time or near real-time responses

How might we improve the administration and control of controlled items (e.g. ammunition rounds)
Small controlled items such as ammunition rounds are stored in ammunition boxes with lot no. indicated, particularly for those of 5.56mm. These items will be configured to the exact quantity indented by the users. We need to ensure the correct quantity, lot no. during every issuance and return, as well as during stock take. The administration process requires extensive man efforts and is very time consuming.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a portable tech solution which can reduce manpower efforts and time when performing accounting of these items. The solution must be able to identify and record the quantity and lot no.. The design of the solution shall consider Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO) as the solution will be used in hazardous ammunition storage site.
